Live Wedding Painting brings elegance, entertainment, and authenticity to your special day. As a Live Wedding Painter my goal is to capture your unique vision, and to work closely with you to create a timeless keepsake that showcases your love story. While on-site throughout your event, guests can watch the painting progress, and may even be invited to apply a few brush strokes! This adds a layer of fun and entertainment for guests of all ages, but it is also so much more. By commissioning a Live Painter for your event, you will come away with a one of a kind artifact that is literally a product of your wedding day. Some couples save their bouquet, while others put aside the top tier of their wedding cake - a painting is something that will stay with you forever.

What’s Included

  • A detailed portrait of the couple, featuring key aspects of your desired backdrop to capture a sense of the scenery, emotion, and energy of your day.

  • The painting will be created using professional grade acrylics on stretched canvas.

  • Consultation(s) with the couple to discuss various options for the painting in order to best capture your special day.

  • 2-4 hours of painting before your guests arrive

  • Mini Photo shoot to capture the best possible reference for your painting (Optional)

  • 3-5 hours of live painting during your reception

  • 5+ hours of studio touchups

  • Artwork is completed within 3 weeks of event: delivery available for local couples - shipping included for out of area couples.

2025 Prices

Pricing is all-inclusive based on a Bronze Package and includes all fees associated with travel to and from the event (mileage plus artist accommodations for up to two nights).

Additional Details

  • A 30% deposit and a signed agreement are required to book your date. The remaining 70% will be required 2 weeks prior to your event.

  • The day of the event, I will require a vendor meal.

  • A 5’ x 5’ space at your event for me to paint in that is flat, and easily accessible for guest viewing.

  • I am based in Humboldt County, CA and am available for travel!


Portrait Commission from a Photo

The most frequent question I get asked at weddings is "would you be willing to paint from a photo of my wedding?” and the the answer is always “YES!” In fact, because portrait commissions from photos are painted in the studio, I am happy to create a portrait-based work of art for you from any occasion or moment. Pricing for portrait commissions vary based on the size of the canvas and complexity of the image. To give you an idea of what you might expect, my starting rate for a wedding painting from a photo is $650. That said, I’m happy to work with you to discuss your vision and budget.
